Press Release

Community project continues in Coín, with the next placement already planned as Mediterranean Homes works towards making life-saving coverage available across local schools.

Mediterranean Homes has announced the donation of its fifth defibrillator as part of an ongoing community initiative to improve access to life-saving equipment in Coín. The latest unit will be donated to CEIP Lope de Vega, further expanding coverage for pupils, staff, parents, and visitors.

In the video announcement, Kelly Summerell, Director of Mediterranean Homes explains that the project’s wider goal is to help ensure defibrillators are available across all primary and secondary schools in Coín, and confirms planning is already underway for the next donation.

Moving on to number six

With the fifth placement confirmed for CEIP Lope de Vega, the initiative will now progress to defibrillator number six. The organisers also shared their intention to continue supporting additional local facilities as the programme develops.

“We’re delighted to donate our fifth defibrillator to CEIP Lope de Vega, and we’ll be moving on to number six next. Our aim is to support coverage across Coín’s primary and secondary schools, and continue working to help protect the community when it’s needed most.”
